UPDATE, 9:15 a.m. — The rollover was no longer displayed in CTroads’ current traffic-events table. Eastern CT News did not find an explicit state reopening notice, so the exact time all lanes reopened is unconfirmed.
STONINGTON — An overturned-vehicle crash closed the right lane of Interstate 95 north between Exits 90 and 91 Sunday morning, according to CTroads.
The state traffic system listed the incident at 8:03 a.m. October 25 and estimated a duration of one hour or less. That estimate is not a confirmed reopening time.
CTroads did not report the number of vehicles involved or provide information about injuries in the alert reviewed by Eastern CT News. No separate police statement was available during the initial review.
Drivers should expect delays, use caution and follow directions from responders. Check the live CTroads table before traveling; the article will be updated under the same stable ID if an authoritative source confirms a reopening or other material details.
The accompanying 2007 file photograph shows I-95 north approaching Exit 91 in Stonington. It does not depict Sunday’s crash.
