PUTNAM — A free food distribution organized by the Danielson Veterans Coffeehouse is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Thursday, November 5, at the Farmers Market Pavilion, 18 Kennedy Drive, WINY Radio reported Thursday morning.
The giveaway is open to everyone, according to the announcement. People seeking food do not have to be veterans to attend.
The Coffeehouse describes its monthly distribution as a volunteer-run program serving more than 350 cars, including veterans, widows and other community members. That figure describes the program’s usual reach, rather than an attendance count for Thursday’s distribution.
