PUTNAM — The track at the St. Marie-Greenhalgh Sports Complex will close Monday, November 9, as a renovation project gets underway, according to a town announcement reported by WINY Radio Friday.
The facility is at 33 Wicker Street, according to Putnam Recreation’s facility directory. Questions about the track can be directed to the recreation office at 860-963-6811.
The closure applies to all track use and public access during construction. Residents are asked to stay behind posted signs and construction barriers.
No reopening date was included in the announcement; the restriction is scheduled to remain in effect until further notice. The notice concerns the track and does not announce a closure of every facility at the sports complex.
