PUTNAM — Families seeking assistance through Putnam’s 2026 Holiday Giving Campaign have until Friday, November 20, to return applications to any Putnam school office, according to the school district.

The program serves Putnam households with children from birth through age 18 who remain enrolled in school. Families submit one form covering all eligible children, plus separate wish lists for middle- and high-school students.

Income verification is required. Families with children outside the public schools must also provide birth certificates and proof of Putnam residency. Application forms and the detailed requirements are available through the district’s Holiday Giving Campaign announcement.

Gift pickups are planned for December 17, with December 18 as the snow date. Families will receive their assigned pickup time and location directly; choosing an AM or PM preference on the form does not establish an appointment.

The application deadline is separate from a donation drive publicized by WINY Radio on November 5. That appeal asks for new, unwrapped toys, winter coats and boots at 157 Providence Pike through December 12, during dealership business hours, to benefit the Putnam Family Resource Center.

For application questions, call the center at 860-963-6940. The 2026 application is available through the school district’s Holiday Giving Campaign announcement.
