PUTNAM — Centreville Bank has welcomed customers back into its renovated branch at 40 Main Street, replacing the temporary modular banking space used during construction.
In an October 9 Facebook announcement, the bank said customers could again visit the branch instead of the temporary facility. That announcement confirms the reopening but does not give an exact first day of service inside the renovated building.
Exterior work is continuing. An October 13 WINY Radio report, shared by the bank, described installation of a new flagpole and removal of the old parking-lot pavement. The report said paving was scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, with striping on Thursday, October 15. Those are planned dates, rather than confirmation the work has been completed.
The bank’s official branch page lists lobby and drive-up hours of 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m.–6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Saturday. Customers can check service arrangements directly with the branch at 860-753-3739 while the exterior project continues.
