The New England Revolution will face Philadelphia in the MLS Cup Playoffs after closing the regular season with a 1–0 loss at Orlando City Saturday, November 7.
Braian Ojeda scored the only goal in the 45th minute. Matt Turner made three saves for New England, which finished 18–12–4 with 58 points, according to the Revolution’s match report.
New England is the Eastern Conference’s third seed and Philadelphia is sixth. Their first-round series is best-of-three, with the Revolution hosting the opener and a third match if needed. The club said the schedule is expected Sunday.
The Revolution’s 18 victories are the second-most in club history, and their 58 points rank third. Turner became the first Revolution goalkeeper to play every minute of a 34-game regular season.
The team has a break during the November international window before beginning the playoff series.
