NORTH STONINGTON — Police responded Tuesday evening to a report of a possibly intoxicated poll worker at the North Stonington Education Center, according to a scanner-based account published by CT Police Live.
The outlet placed the call at 7:09 p.m. November 3 at the Education Center, 298 Norwich-Westerly Road. Its account said dispatch initially placed the call near the middle school before officers clarified the voting location.
CT Police Live reported that the person had left before officers arrived and that an officer checked the surrounding area. Police confirmation of the report was not available.
The account does not establish that voting was interrupted or that any ballots were affected. Those outcomes should not be inferred from the reported response.
