LISBON — Interstate 395 north is closed between Exits 21 and 22 after an overturned-vehicle crash just beyond the Route 12 interchange, according to the state’s CTroads traffic system.

CTroads listed the crash at 8:03 p.m. Saturday, October 24, about 0.01 miles beyond Exit 21. The official advisory was updated at 8:18 p.m. to describe an “Overturned Motor Vehicle.” The current state listing does not specify a vehicle count.

A preliminary Quiet Corner Alerts post timestamped 8:07 p.m. reported two vehicles, one rollover, heavy damage, no entrapment, one advanced-life-support transport and one refusal. The updated CTroads advisory supports the rollover description but does not independently confirm the local alert’s vehicle count or medical details. Eastern CT News has not obtained police confirmation of the crash circumstances or those medical details.

An ALS transport alone does not establish injury severity. Neither source identified a hospital, described the transported person’s condition or provided a reopening time.

Drivers should avoid the area, use an alternate route and follow directions from police and highway crews. The closure remained listed by CTroads when Eastern CT News checked at 9:20 p.m.
