Ledyard beat Branford 37–14 at Bill Mignault Field on Friday, October 16, turning a 14–6 deficit into a decisive home victory behind its running game, The Day reported.

Titus Streckfuss rushed for 113 yards and four touchdowns, according to Mike DiMauro’s full game report. The Colonels scored the final 23 points of the first half, with two forced turnovers helping change the direction of the game.

Running back Jackson Favry completed two first-half passes, to Brayden Gugliotta and Jayce Hayward. Both helped set up Streckfuss touchdowns, the report said. Gio Velez recovered one of Branford’s fumbles.

Ledyard then controlled most of the third quarter with a possession lasting more than 10 minutes. Jackson Grim finished that drive with a 7-yard touchdown run, extending the lead to the eventual final margin.

The win came against a Branford team that entered Friday with one loss. The Day lists Branford at 3–2 afterward. This account attributes its game details to the newspaper’s on-site reporting; the CIAC results page was not readable during the additional check.
