KILLINGLY — CTDOT will present its proposal to replace the Wright Road bridge over Quanduck Brook October 15 at 6 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room, 172 Main Street, Danielson.

The agency says Bridge 05361 is deteriorating and the replacement would meet current design standards. A question-and-answer session follows the presentation.

Temporary construction easements and partial property acquisitions for wingwalls and barrier walls are anticipated. Construction is projected for spring 2029, subject to funding, property acquisition and permits.

CTDOT estimates the project at about $3.1 million, with 80% federal and 20% state funding. Comments are due October 29 to DOT-FLBP@ct.gov or 860-594-2020; reference Project 0068-0220.

The meeting concerns a proposed future project, rather than an immediate bridge closure.
