HEBRON — Property owners should expect reassessment notices in November under the town’s 2026 revaluation timetable, with informal hearings estimated for December.
The town contracted with eQuality Valuation Services for a review tied to the October 1 Grand List. All properties receive a review, although not every property requires a physical inspection.
The assessor asks owners to check data mailers for property details and confirm their mailing address. Changes in assessed values will differ because properties and market conditions differ.
The posted timetable lists assessment appeals in March or April 2027, a mill rate in May and tax bills July 1. The November and December dates are estimates.
Questions about data or the review process can be directed to the assessor at 860-228-5971, extension 126. An assessment notice alone does not establish a property’s final tax bill.
