WATERFORD — East Lyme’s Sylvi Otter repeated as Eastern Connecticut Conference diving champion Friday, November 6, finishing with 449.35 points at Waterford, The Day reported.
East Lyme took the top three places, with Waterford claiming fourth. The diving results will count toward the combined team championship when the swimming events are held Saturday.
The meet continues at 10 a.m. November 7 at UConn Avery Point in Groton. East Lyme enters as the 25-time defending meet champion, while the Fitch cooperative team won the 2026 regular-season title, according to the newspaper.
Friday’s diving championship does not settle the combined swimming and diving team title.
