Connecticut State Colleges and Universities interim Chancellor Natalie Braswell says an accountability and reforms dashboard will be presented at the Board of Regents’ October 15 meeting, according to a WFSB interview published October 13.
Braswell described the dashboard as a response to recommendations from Grand Rivers Solutions’ review of the system’s handling of complaints. She said leadership was responsible for addressing inadequate procedures and was considering several changes.
WFSB also questioned whether ending a separate investigation when Central Connecticut State University President Zulma Toro resigned was consistent with the review’s recommendations. Braswell characterized that separation agreement as a decision specific to Central’s leadership transition, not a blanket policy ending investigations upon resignation.
The presentation will outline proposed reforms. This reports Braswell’s interview statements, not verified implementation or findings on the underlying allegations.
