BOZRAH — A community safety app promoted by the Bozrah Volunteer Fire Company gives residents a way to provide responders with household information before crews reach a scene.
The company’s July 31 announcement identifies MyLocalSafety as a partnership with the town’s fire marshal and emergency-management office. Examples include pets, mobility or medical needs, gate access, propane tanks, utility shutoffs and solar panels.
The fire company says the information connects with its existing emergency-response systems. The service also provides a channel for emergency and community notices.
Residents can download the free app from Apple’s App Store or Google Play and enter connection code 378877. Questions are directed to MyLS@bozrahfire.org.
The announcement describes an ongoing preparedness service, rather than a current emergency alert. Residents should review the app’s information-handling terms before providing sensitive household details and use 911 for an emergency.
