Sanitarian II

Full-time environmental-health work including food-establishment, cosmetology and temporary-event inspections plus subsurface-sewage plan review, site evaluation and project inspection. Requires a related bachelor’s degree plus four years of environmental-health, laboratory or related experience. Connecticut DPH food-inspection certification, a Connecticut Registered Sanitarian license and phase 1 and 2 subsurface-sewage certification are required at appointment.
